Wake Forest, NC (August 16, 2020) – Several vehicles were involved in a crash that took place in Wake Forest on Saturday, August 15th. The crash happened around 11:50 a.m. near Stadium Drive.
Authorities responded to the crash scene shortly after the accident took place. According to reports, there were multiple cars involved in the accident. There is no information on how the crash occurred at this time. Rescue workers arrived at the scene and transported two people to a local hospital with unknown injuries and there is no update on their conditions at this time. Based on images from the scene, the accident appeared to involve a black SUV and a red minivan.
The road remained closed for more nearly four hours before reopening around 3:40 p.m. Police advised motorists traveling in the area to use caution and to find an alternate route if possible. An investigation into the crash is ongoing. No further details are available at this time.
