According to reports from the scene, Anthony Hill was traveling northbound on Winston Road in a Porsche Carrera. As Hill came to the intersection with 10th Street, his Porsche collided with a Toyota. An ambulance quickly arrived at the scene, along with members of the Lexington Fire Department. Rescue crews performed life-saving measures before an ambulance transported Hill to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem where he later succumbed to his injuries.
There is no word on whether the SUV driver was injured in the crash. The exact cause of the accident is not known at this time. The Lexington Police Department along with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol is currently investigating the crash.
