Pedestrian Accidents in North Carolina
More than 200 pedestrians lost their lives on North Carolina’s roadways in 2018. This represented more than a 12% increase from the number of fatal accidents involving pedestrians in 2017. A North Carolina pedestrian accident can take place on a busy city street or in a quiet private neighborhood. Pedestrians are all around us and drivers must always remember to exercise an appropriate level of care and caution in order to avoid a potentially catastrophic and tragic situation.
Many pedestrian accidents in North Carolina are caused by the actions of negligent drivers.
