Perquimans County, NC (September 7, 2020) – One person was killed in a crash that occurred in Perquimans County on Sunday, September 6th. The crash took place around 1:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Cove Road.
Troopers with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol responded to the crash scene shortly after the accident occurred. According to officials, at least one motorist suffered fatal injuries in the accident. There are no details at this time on the circumstances leading up to the accident. Authorities are still working to notify the victim’s next-of-kin and have not released their identity at this time. There is no word on whether any other injuries were sustained as a result of the crash. Motorists in the area were advised to use caution when traveling near the crash scene and to find alternate routes of travel if possible.
