Harnett County, NC (September 18, 2020) – Two people are dead after a fatal car accident in Harnett County on Friday morning, September 18th. The accident took place around 7:00 a.m. on North Carolina Highway 87 near Benhaven School Road.
The Harnett County Sheriff’s Office was among the first agencies to respond to the scene. According to deputies, the crash involved a work truck and a pickup truck. There is no word at this time on the events that led up to the accident. Police have not identified the two victims and there is no word on which vehicles the victims were occupying at the time of the collision.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is also investigating the accident and its cause. Troopers are still looking into the crash and there are no additional details available at this time.
