Durham, NC (September 26, 2020) – The Durham Police Department was called to the scene of a fatal car accident on Friday night. The crash was reported around 10:00 p.m. at the intersection of Holloway Street and Lynn Road.
According to investigators, two vehicles, an SUV and a sedan were involved in the collision. When police arrived at the scene, they found the SUV lying on its side. The sedan was found with extensive damage to the windshield. Rescue crews took at least one person to the hospital following the crash. The identity of the deceased individual has not been released at this time. There is no word on the total number of injured victims. No details have been given regarding the events leading up to the accident. Motorists in the area were advised to use caution.
