Charlotte, NC (October 1, 2020) – Police were on the scene of a crash with serious injuries in west Charlotte on Thursday, October 1st. The crash took place on Wilkinson Boulevard near the intersection with Morris Field Drive.
According to reports from officials, the crash involved a school bus. There is no word on whether any other vehicles were also involved in the collision and no details were given on the events leading up to the crash. Rescue crews arrived on the scene and provided aid to multiple injured victims. Authorities report that one patient was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, another was transported with serious injuries, and three were taken with minor injuries. There is no information on the identity of the victims at this time.
An investigation into the incident remains ongoing. No further details have been released.
