Asheville, NC (October 27, 2020) – Police were on the scene of an injury crash that took place in Asheville on Tuesday, October 27th. The crash happened near the Captain Jeff Bowen Bridge and Hill Street just before 7:00 a.m.
According to police, the accident involved a dump truck and a small SUV. There is no word on the cause of the crash at this time. One person was taken from the accident scene to a local hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. The victim’s identity and extent of their injuries are not known at this time. There were no other injuries reported. Police have not said whether any charges are expected.
