Conover, NC (November 17, 2020) – Emergency crews responded to the scene of a fatal car accident in Conover on Tuesday, November 17th. The crash took place on Thornsburg Drive NE near the intersection with Interstate 40.
According to police, the crash involved a total of two vehicles. The cars collided head-on with one another. At this time, it is not clear which car crossed the centerline and police have not revealed which vehicle caused the accident to occur. One person was pronounced dead following the crash but the deceased victim has not been identified. There is no word on whether anyone else was hurt in the collision. Motorists were advised to use caution when traveling near the scene and to avoid the area if possible.
