Holly Springs, NC (December 3, 2020) – Police in Holly Springs responded to the scene of a serious injury crash involving a pedestrian on Thursday, December 3rd. The crash took place at the intersection of South Main Street and Highway 55 around 10:00 a.m.
According to the Holly Springs Police Department, there were three vehicles involved in a crash near the intersection. One of the vehicles struck a pedestrian who was walking near the roadway. The pedestrian, who has not been identified at this time, sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash. The accident caused Highway 55 to be closed in both directions for several hours while authorities worked at the scene to investigate the crash.
