Raleigh, NC (December 14, 2020) – Police in Raleigh responded to the scene of an injury accident in the city on Monday, December 14th. The crash happened on I-540 near Knightdale Boulevard and U.S. Highway 64.
According to witnesses, multiple vehicles were involved in the accident. At this time, there is no word on the cause of the crash. Rescue workers and several ambulances were present at the scene. At least one injured victim was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. The accident caused major traffic delays in the area as both directions of the road were shut down while police investigated and cleared away the wreckage. Police have not whether any charges are expected to be filed. There is no word information on the identity of the victims.
