Wilmington, NC (December 22, 2020) – One person was hurt in a car accident that took place in Wilmington on Monday, December 21st. The crash was reported around 1:30 p.m. on Market Street near the intersection with 4th Street.
The Wilmington Police Department responded to the crash scene. According to a report from the scene, a Toyota pickup truck collided with a wave transit bus. The driver of the pickup was seriously hurt and was taken to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries. No one on the bus suffered serious injuries. The pickup driver has not been identified at this time.
Police are still investigating the crash at this time. There is no additional information available.
