Kernersville, NC (December 31, 2020) – The Kernersville Police Department was called to the scene of a fatal accident involving a pedestrian on Thursday, December 31st. The crash took place at the intersection of Piney Grove Road and Church Street.
Police say that a pedestrian was walking near the roadway when they were hit by a vehicle traveling on Piney Grove. The victim, who has not been identified at this time, died at the crash scene. There is no word on whether any other injuries were reported. Police have not released the identity of the driver and have not provided any details on the events that led up to the accident.
