Greenville, NC (May 24, 2020) – One person was killed and another suffered injuries in a two-car crash that took place in Greenville on Saturday, May 23rd. The crash was reported around 11:00 p.m. on Airport Road at the intersection with North Memorial Drive.
According to reports, 34-year-old Olivia Gay was driving a 2004 Pontiac Vibe westbound on Airport Road when she came to the intersection with North Memorial. As she entered the intersection she collided with a 1995 Ford Ranger traveling northbound. The driver of the Ford was identified as 24-year-old Trayvon Page of Grifton.
Gay died at the scene according to the Greenville Police Department. Page sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The crash is still under investigation at this time.
