Greensboro, NC (January 26, 2021) – One person was killed in a pedestrian crash that took place in Greensboro on Monday, January 24th. The accident happened just before 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of West Friendly Avenue and North Elam Avenue.
The Greensboro Police Department was called to the crash scene shortly after the accident took place. According to police, the pedestrian was walking in the intersection when they were struck by an unidentified vehicle. The pedestrian was taken to a hospital where they died from their injuries. Police have not released any information on the deceased victim’s identity at this time. There were no additional injuries reported in the accident and the driver remained at the scene.
