Fayetteville, NC (February 5, 2021) – A woman was killed after a pedestrian crash in Fayetteville earlier this week. The crash took place on Monday, February 1st at approximately 8:30 p.m.
The Fayetteville Police Department responded to the scene on Bragg Boulevard at the intersection with Sycamore Dairy Road. According to officers, 57-year-old Robin Horton was walking in or near the roadway when she was hit by a vehicle. Horton was pronounced dead by rescue workers at the accident scene. There is no word on whether the driver remained at the scene and the events leading up to the accident are not clear at this time.
