Fatal Crashes in North Carolina
Each year across North Carolina, there are approximately 1,500 fatalities reported in car accidents throughout our state. Over the course of the year, this averages out to about four fatal crashes every day. While the number of fatalities has remained relatively steady in recent years, there was a slight uptick in 2020 in the number of reported deadly crashes. The cause of the increase is unknown, but as more and more drivers are on the roadways the chances of a fatal accident will continue to go up. It is easy to fall into a false sense of security when we get into a vehicle but it is also important to remember that very serious car accidents in North Carolina take place here on a daily basis.
If you or a loved one have suffered a loss in a North Carolina traffic accident, you are likely to need the help of an experienced attorney. After the crash, your focus should be on your healing and recovery and not on the legal details that are necessary to put your case in the best position it can be. You should not have to worry about dealing with the insurance company during this difficult time while your attorney can take care of all the details and make sure that you are receiving the outcome that you deserve.
