Car Accidents in North Carolina
Tragically, there are about 1,400 people killed in North Carolina car accidents each year. Hundreds of these victims will lose their lives due to the actions of others on our roadways. Speeding, reckless driving, and other forms of careless behavior all contribute to the serious and fatal accidents that we see often in our state. Each fatal car accident must be carefully investigated by authorities to determine who should be held responsible.
When you have lost a loved one in a fatal crash in North Carolina, you may have legal rights. Under our state’s law, you could file a wrongful death claim against the responsible driver and their insurance company. There may be additional avenues of recovery, but your case can only be evaluated by a skilled and trusted North Carolina wrongful death attorney. These cases are complicated and can involve complex legal issues. Additionally, during this time, it is important to make sure that you are focusing on your family and other important issues.
