Raleigh, NC (May 7, 2021) – Nearly thirty cars were involved in an accident that took place on Friday evening in Raleigh. The collision happened on I-540 near Creedmoor Road and Mile Marker 9.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol and Department of Transportation responded to the scene. According to a report, there were up to 26 cars involved. The accident was a chain-reaction collision. At this time, authorities believe that weather conditions, including rain and fog, may have played a role in the accident. There were injuries reported but the extent of the injuries is unknown.
