Winston-Salem, NC (May 21, 2021) – The Winston-Salem Police Department was called to the scene of a car accident with injuries on Friday, May 21st. The collision happened just after 4:00 p.m on Salem Parkway near U.S. Highway 52.
In addition to police, the Forsyth County EMS also arrived shortly after the collision occurred. According to a report, there was at least one person injured as a result of the collision. At this time, officials have not provided any update on the condition of the injured nor have they released the victim’s identity. There are no details on the events leading up to the crash. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The crash caused traffic to be delayed on Salem Parkway and motorists were advised to use alternate routes of travel and to take precautions near the scene.
