It is common to take our safety for granted when we get into a vehicle. Driving may seem like a routine and normal task for most people and is something that we do every day. However, it is important to keep in mind that we are sharing the roadway with other drivers who may not be as careful. Negligent drivers are all around us and the actions and decisions that they make can affect a law-abiding driver and change their lives in an instant. Speeding, reckless driving, distraction, impairment, and more are some of the most common causes of North Carolina car accidents. Drivers who fail to operate their vehicles in a careful and cautious manner are placing all other motorists at risk.
