Lumberton, NC (June 26, 2021) – A 21-year-old Lumberton man suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Friday morning. The accident took place just after 2:00 a.m. in the 2800 block of West Fifth Street.
The Lumberton Police Department responded to the crash scene. According to officers, Dylan Lowry was in a parking lot at Dobb’s Place when he was run over by a vehicle. After being struck, Lowry was taken to UNC Health Southeastern Medical Center for treatment. The extent of his injuries has not been disclosed at this time. The vehicle is described only as a white passenger car. There is no additional information regarding the vehicle or the suspect at this time. Police continue to investigate.
