Greensboro, NC (June 26, 2020) – The victim of a Greensboro motorcycle accident that occurred earlier this month has passed away from his injuries. The crash took place around 4:00 p.m. on June 13th.
Troopers with the State Highway Patrol say that 65-year-old Jimmy Alan Brown, of Asheboro, was riding his motorcycle on N.C. 62 near the intersection with Branson Mill Road. At the same time, a four-door burgundy vehicle ran a stop sign and traveled directly into Brown’s path. Brown made an evasive maneuver, crashing his motorcycle. The car then fled the scene.
Brown died this week from injuries suffered in the crash. Troopers are still looking for the passenger vehicle. No further details are available.
We wish to extend our condolences to the family of Jimmy Alan Brown after this hit-and-run accident.
