Chapel Hill, NC (July 20, 2021) – Police in Chapel Hill responded to the scene of a car accident with injuries on Tuesday afternoon. The collision took place on Fordham Boulevard at the intersection with Estes Drive.
The Chapel Hill Police Department along with the Chapel Hill Fire Department arrived just after the accident happened. According to authorities, the crash involved two cars and a large dump truck. Three people were taken from the scene to the hospital following the collision. There is no information on the extent of the victim’s injuries at this time. Police have also not said how the accident took place and it is not clear whether any charges are expected to be filed. The crash caused the northbound lanes of Fordham Boulevard to be shut down while officers were at the scene.
