Henderson, NC (July 21, 2021) – Officers with the Henderson Police Department were called to the scene of a two-vehicle accident on Monday, July 19th. The crash occurred around 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of West Main Street and U.S. Highway 45.
According to a report, David Robinson, of Raeford, was driving a Can Am Spider southbound on U.S. 45. At the same time, Theresa Dye, of Bethel Springs, was driving westbound in a Ford Focus on Main Street. The two cars collided in the intersection. Robinson was ejected from his car and was taken to a local hospital with critical injuries. Dye was also transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are still looking into the cause of the accident at this time. There is no word on any potential charges.
