Spring Hope, NC (June 9, 2022) – Authorities in Spring Hope responded to the scene of a serious crash on Wednesday, June 9th. The accident took place around 4:15 p.m. on US Highway 64 eastbound near Tant Road.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol investigated the accident. According to a report, one person lost their life in the accident while another was airlifted from the scene to a local hospital. There is no word on the events leading up to the accident. The deceased victim was not immediately identified. Drivers were asked to avoid the area and to look for alternate routes of travel if possible. It is unclear whether any charges are expected to be filed.
