Nashville, NC (September 7, 2022) – Police in Nashville responded to the scene of a fatal car accident on Wednesday, September 7th. The crash took place on Old Bailey Highway at the intersection with Macedonia Road.
According to a report from the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, an Acura sedan and a semi-truck collided with one another around 2:30 p.m. There is no information at this time on how the accident took place. The Acura driver was pronounced dead at the crash scene and has not been identified at this time. The driver of the truck was not injured in the accident. The road was closed for several hours while police investigated the collision. Motorists were asked to avoid the area. It is unclear if any charges will be filed.
