Zebulon, NC (October 7, 2022) – A bicyclist suffered injuries following a crash in Zebulon on Thursday, October 6th. The accident took place just before 8:00 p.m. on Pearces Road.
According to a report from authorities, the rider was traveling on Pearces Road when they were hit by a white pickup truck that was on the same road. The bicyclist suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Their identity has not been released at this time. There is no information on the events that led up to the accident. The truck appeared to suffer front-end damage as a result. Neither the victim nor the driver were identified.
