Fatal Accidents in North Carolina  Asheboro, NC - Driver Killed in Crash with Ambulance on Highway 49

Deadly accidents occur each day on North Carolina’s streets and highways. No driver or passenger is ever truly safe from being hurt or killed in a car accident and each time a person gets into a vehicle they run the risk of being involved in a crash. Last year, there were over 1,400 fatalities reported in North Carolina traffic accidents. This number has remained relatively constant over the past five years as negligent driving continues to have negative effects on innocent car accident victims.

Unfortunately, many car accidents in North Carolina are simply unavoidable. These crashes occur suddenly and unexpectedly and are caused by negligent driving behavior. In many of these collisions, a driver has no time to react to the situation in front of them because the other motorist has placed them in a position from which they cannot avoid the accident. Head-on collisions and failing to yield to other drivers are common examples of these types of collisions.
