Burlington, NC (April 14, 2021) – The Burlington Police Department responded to the scene of a car accident on Wednesday afternoon. The collision occurred on Maple Avenue near the intersection with South Anthony Road.
According to Assistant Chief Brian Long, there were two vehicles involved in the accident. There is no word on the details leading up to the crash. At least one person was injured and was taken to the hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries. There is no update on the victim’s condition at this time.
