Car Accidents in North Carolina
A car accident in North Carolina can happen anywhere at any time. While we typically think of accidents as occurring on the open road, sometimes they take place in parking lots, neighborhoods, shopping centers, and other areas. Negligent drivers are present everywhere on our roadways and their actions can cause a crash to occur in just about any area where vehicles are found.
In 2018, nearly 80,000 people were hurt in North Carolina car accidents. Many of these injured victims suffered because of the actions of a third party. The fact is that most car accidents are preventable through the use of ordinary care and caution. Many drivers, however, choose to ignore traffic safety rules and drive in a manner that endangers both themselves as well as other people. These drivers can ultimately be held legally responsible when their actions lead directly to a crash that injures another person.
If you or a loved one have been injured in a North Carolina car accident, you should take action to protect yourself as soon as possible.
