Cary, NC (September 1, 2022) – The Cary Police Department responded to a multi-vehicle crash on Thursday afternoon, September 1st. The accident took place just before 3:00 p.m. on US Highway 1 near Interstate 440.
According to a report from the North Carolina Department of Transportation, several cars were involved in the accident. The crash resulted in a significant backup, as vehicles were stopped two miles from the scene. Several motorists were hurt in the crash but there is no specific word on the extent of their injuries at this time.
