Charlotte, NC (June 9, 2020) – At least one person was injured in a car accident that took place in Charlotte on Tuesday afternoon. The crash was reported around 5:30 p.m. on Wilkinson Boulevard near Old Dowd Road.
Emergency crews and police arrived on the scene shortly after the collision occurred. At this time, it is not clear exactly what led up to the accident. No information has been given on the condition of the injured victim or whether more than one person suffered injuries. Motorists were advised to find alternate routes of travel as officials worked at the scene to clear away the wreckage and investigate the accident.
