Charlotte, NC (August 1, 2020) – Officers with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department responded to the scene of a car accident with injuries on Saturday Morning. The crash was first reported around 8:00 a.m. in the 500 block of West 32nd Street.
Police and rescue crews arrived at the scene shortly after being dispatched. When officers arrived, they located at least one person suffering from injuries caused by the crash. There is no word at this time on the person’s condition. The cause of the crash is still under investigation and it is not clear if any other injuries were reported. Motorists were advised to use alternate routes of travel due to delays at the crash scene.
An investigation into the accident remains ongoing at this time. There is no further information available.
