Charlotte, NC (September 20, 2020) – A car accident with injuries was reported in Charlotte on Sunday, September 20th. Officials received word of the accident at 4937 Sunset Road around 4:30 a.m.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, along with rescue crews, responded to the scene shortly after being dispatched. When police arrived, they located an injury accident with at least one victim. The victim received medical treatment at the scene but the full extent of their injuries is not known at this time. Police did not immediately release any details on the cause of the accident or the number of injured victims. There is also no word on the identity of those involved at this time.
An investigation into the crash remains ongoing. No further information is available.
