Charlotte, NC (October 13, 2020) – The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department responded to the scene of a hit-and-run crash with injuries on Tuesday, October 13th. The crash happened just before 10:00 a.m. on West Sugar Creek Road near the intersection with Reagan Drive.
At this time, there are few details regarding the events leading up to the accident. Rescue crews also responded to the crash scene, along with officers. Reports from the scene indicate that at least one person suffered injuries as a result of the accident. The driver who caused the crash fled the scene before authorities could arrive. Police have not released any details regarding the suspect’s vehicle at this time or provided any information on whether an arrest has been made.
