Davidson County, NC (September 15, 2020) – One person was taken to the hospital following a crash between a car and a scooter in Davidson County. The collision took place just after 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 15th in the northbound lanes of I-85 near Davidson County Community College.
According to reports from the scene, rescue crews treated the injured scooter driver at the crash scene. The driver was then transported to a local hospital for treatment of unknown injuries. No one in the car was hurt as a result of the accident. There is no information on what caused the accident to occur at this time. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol and the Davidson County EMS both responded to the accident scene.
Troopers are still investigating the accident at this time. There is no additional information available regarding the crash.
