North Carolina Car Accidents
According to the North Carolina Department of Transportation, there are approximately 80,000 injury accidents in our state each year. This number has continued to rise in recent years as we have seen more and more negligent drivers on our roadways. Most crashes are caused by one or more negligent or careless actions of other motorists, including speeding, distraction, reckless driving, and impairment. Unfortunately, these motorist’s actions also influence others on the road. Innocent drivers can find themselves involved in an injury crash that can change their lives in a matter of seconds.
If you or a loved one have been affected by the actions of another driver, you should act promptly to protect your legal rights. While you may be facing high medical costs, tremendous pain and suffering, and lost wages due to being unable to work, there is hope for your future. If the crash was not your fault, the other driver can be held accountable for their actions. This may include negotiations with the insurance adjuster handling your claim.
The amount of compensation to which you are entitled can only be determined by an attorney with skill and experience handling accident claims.
