Durham, NC (March 24, 2022) – Officials in Durham were at the scene of a serious crash on Wednesday, March 23rd. The accident occurred around 4:30 a.m. on US Highway 70 near the intersection with Miami Boulevard and Pleasant Drive.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the accident. According to an official report, a sedan and an SUV were involved in the collision. The SUV suffered serious front-end damage while the sedan had its driver’s side doors ripped off. The sedan came to rest in a ditch after the accident. There were injuries reported as a result of the crash. At this time, there is no word on the nature or the extent of the injuries.
