Fatal Pedestrian Crashes in North Carolina
There are nearly 3,000 pedestrian accidents in North Carolina each year. In 2018, approximately 2,600 people were hurt in pedestrian crashes that took place in our state. While the cause of each pedestrian accident will vary, many of them occur because of the actions of a negligent driver. Drivers are often speeding, distracted, impaired, or otherwise driving recklessly when they strike pedestrians, leaving them with serious injuries. These crashes can have devastating and life-long consequences, including high medical costs and the sudden loss of a family member, which can carry serious financial repercussions for families.
If you or a loved one has been affected by a North Carolina pedestrian accident, it is important to have an attorney by your side who will stand up for you.
