North Carolina Car Accidents
Car accidents in North Carolina take place each day, multiple times per day. While not every accident will result in injuries, many of them do. According to the North Carolina Department of Transportation, there were approximately 80,000 injury accidents in our state in 2019. This number was up slightly from the year before as our roadways are becoming gradually more dangerous due to increases in state population and a greater number of negligent drivers on the streets and highways. Motorists should always drive with care and caution in order to reduce their risk of being involved in a crash.
While some crashes are avoidable, not all can be prevented. Some accidents happen so suddenly and quickly that the other driver is unable to take defensive action to avoid the crash. These types of accidents can produce serious injuries for victims and can have a major impact on both the injured victim as well as their family. If you find yourself in this situation, you should seek the services of a skilled and trusted attorney as soon as possible.
