North Carolina Injury Accidents
Each year across North Carolina there are more than 250,000 reported injury accidents. These crashes happen very suddenly and can be life-changing events for victims and their families. A traffic accident in North Carolina is often caused by a negligent driver who fails to obey the traffic laws and safety regulations that are in place to help avoid accidents from occurring.
If you have been injured in a crash that was not your fault, you should speak with a trusted attorney as soon as possible. You may have valuable and important legal rights that need to protected right away. The other driver’s insurance company will likely be in touch with you right after the accident occurs. The insurance adjuster may seek to obtain a quick settlement. This settlement may seem attractive at first but it is likely that it does not properly compensate you for your losses. It is important to remember that the adjuster is not on your side and is looking out only for the best interest of the company and the insured motorist.
