North Carolina Car Accidents
A car accident in North Carolina can take place at any time. Most of us never get behind the wheel of a vehicle thinking that we will be involved in an accident. However, North Carolina car accidents occur nearly every second of the day. These crashes happen on busy highways, near major cities, in rural areas, and on quiet neighborhood streets. It is impossible to know when one will be the victim of another driver’s negligence. According to the North Carolina Department of Transportation, there were approximately 250,000 reported crashes in our state in 2019, and nearly 80,000 injuries reported as a result of those accidents. Many of the injured crash victims were hurt in collisions that were not their fault.
If you or a loved one have been affected by a car accident in North Carolina, you may have questions about where to turn next. Following the accident, you are rightfully focused on your future and how to move forward. Getting back to normal as soon as possible should be the goal. To begin with, you should not be held responsible for the negligence of another driver. If you were injured in the crash, you should seek the help of an attorney who can help ensure that you receive the compensation you deserve.
