Garner, NC (October 22, 2020) – At least two people were killed following a crash that took place on North Carolina Highway 42 on Wednesday, October 21st. The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. near a Walmart Super Center.
According to the State Highway Patrol, a grey car was traveling on N.C. 42 at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control, cross the center line and collided head-on with a red pickup truck. Two people in the car were pronounced dead at the scene. Two other passengers in the car were taken for treatment of serious injuries. The driver of the pickup truck sustained non-life-threatening injuries. There is no word on what caused the crash to occur at this time.
