Greensboro, NC (June 11, 2020) – The Greensboro Police Department is investigating after a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 40. The crash happened on Thursday, June 11th around 12:15 p.m.
Officers responded to the scene in the eastbound lanes near the exit for Gallimore Dairy Road. According to reports, a tractor-trailer collided with a 2004 Honda Accord. The female driver of the Accord was taken to Moses Cone Hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries. There is no word on what led up to the crash. Traffic was slowed back to Sandy Ridge Road as police and emergency crews worked at the scene.
The crash is under investigation at this time. No additional details have been released.
