Greensboro, NC (February 22, 2021) – A person was killed in a crash that took place on I-85 in Guilford County. The crash happened on Monday, February 22nd around 2:15 a.m.
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol was among the agencies that responded to the accident scene. According to a report from troopers, a man was walking in the road when he was struck by a vehicle that was traveling southbound on I-85. The man, who has not been identified at this time, was pronounced dead by rescue officials. The driver fled the accident scene before police could arrive.
