North Carolina Motorcycle Accidents
Motorcyclists in North Carolina are at great risk of being seriously hurt or killed when they are involved in accidents on our roadways. According to statistics from the North Carolina Department of Transportation, there were a total of 3,566 North Carolina motorcycle accidents in 2018. Of this number, 2,806 injuries were reported and 176 motorcyclists tragically lost their lives. Motorcycles offer little protection from the force and the impact of a traffic collision and motorcyclists often take the worst of the impact. Compared with traditional vehicles, motorcyclists are far more likely to suffer injuries in a crash.

Even a single instance of negligence can cause a crash that results in catastrophic injuries.
