Greensboro, NC (April 5, 2021) – Police in Greensboro responded to the scene of a motorcycle crash on Sunday, April 4th. The collision took place around 6:45 p.m. on U.S. Highway 29 near the exit for Headquarters Drive.
According to officials, a pickup truck was traveling southbound on U.S. 29 when the driver lost control of their vehicle. The truck veered off the roadway before striking a median wall and crashing into the motorcycle. The motorcyclist, who has not been identified at this time, was taken to an area hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries. There is no word on whether the driver of the pickup was injured.
Police are still investigating the collision at this time. It is not clear whether the driver of the pickup will face any charges in connection with the accident.
