Greensboro, NC (August 31, 2021) – The Greensboro Police Department was called to the scene of a pedestrian crash on Thursday, August 30th. The crash happened around 9:20 a.m. on East Florida Street at the intersection with South Elm-Eugene Street.
According to the GPD, a person was walking on Florida Street when they were hit by a vehicle. The driver remained at the scene. When police arrived, they discovered an injured victim lying in the roadway. The unidentified pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. There is no word on the cause of the crash at this time.
An investigation is ongoing.
