Greensboro, NC (August 18, 2021) – Police in Greensboro are investigating after a man was killed in a pedestrian crash on Friday, August 15th. The accident took place around 9:30 p.m. on East Gate City Boulevard.
The Greensboro Police Department was called to the accident scene just after the crash occurred. According to police, a 23-year-old woman from Greensboro was driving a 2008 Mazda CX-7 eastbound on Gate City when she hit a pedestrian who was walking in the roadway. The pedestrian was later identified as 58-year-old Robert Willaim Wansley, of Greensboro.
